On Friday, October 16th, Fàbrica Ramis in Inca hosted the closing ceremony of Connect'Up 2020, in which our CEO, José Mañas, was present to present one of the prizes to the winners of the third edition of this initiative. The finalists in the Grow category began their innovative journey last September and after an intense period of training and mentoring, the competition that encourages entrepreneurship in the Balearic Islands closes its third edition with a great success. Connect'Up, organised by the Grup Serra and sponsored by CaixaBank, brings the entrepreneurship competition to a close, and for yet another year it has had a powerful representation of collaborating entities and institutions that form part of the business fabric of the Islands.
Jaume Bennàssar and Montserrat Martín won the first prize in the Grow category with their project Tauló. Among the finalist projects there were other proposals related to technology, art, artificial intelligence, technology, or health and welfare among others. The jury was made up of professionals who were responsible for training and mentoring the six finalists over the months. The members of this jury were Luis Sánchez from Processing Smart; Sergio Pastor from Sales & Fit; Jorge Serrano and Goretti Tur, from Go Consulting; Judith Mestres, from Talents DO; Lucia Mir and César Llorente, from Motivapedia; Ricardo Moreno, from SECOT; Karim Ben Lachab, from CaixaBank and Xesca Vidal, expert in communication and public speaking.
