Carlos Alonso, CEO of Atmosphere & Smart Division of Wireless DNA, was invited to IB3 Ràdio program, 'Al dia', to discuss the innovative project to transform mobile phone networks into real-time weather monitoring systems, resulting from Wireless DNA and Meteoclim integration.
Carlos Alonso explained how "through mobile phone networks, we can analyze the behavior of electromagnetic waves (which is directly related to atmospheric conditions) and, therefore, since we have information about these waves, we can obtain a more accurate image of the atmospheric situation for our predictions. [...] We introduce a new database of real time information: the mobile phone networks".
Alonso attended the program with Tona Pou, manager of GSBIT (Balearic Association of Software, Internet and New Technologies).
